The dripper is designed with 3 distinct zones, each with a different number of ribs and channels serving a specific function:

• Flat top zone: Completely sealed when the paper filter is placed inside. Whether you pour water directly onto the paper surface or fill it up, the water will not seep through the dripper walls and drip down into the server.
• Multi-rib water zone: Reduces the contact area between the paper and the dripper wall to regulate flow rate. Regardless of how much water sits above, the flow rate coming out remains consistently stable.
• Multi-channel coffee zone: Maximizes airflow and drainage through the coffee bed into the server below. Prevents water from getting backed up and stalling.
