• Opening the dosing funnel: Twist counterclockwise until you hear a “Click”
• Closing the funnel: Twist clockwise until you hear a “Click”
• Use the lid to store coffee after grinding. It also transforms the catch cup into a dosing cup that fits the original filter basket or the 18g upgraded basket of the Outin Nano

• No display: Grinder is off
• White: Currently grinding or battery is fully charged
• Orange: Low battery, can grind about 3 more doses of 18g for espresso
• Red: Needs charging immediately

DRAWBACKS OF THE OUTIN FINO COFFEE GRINDER

• Difficult burr cleaning: You can only brush clean the outside after grinding. If users want to thoroughly clean by fully removing the burrs, they’ll need to use the hex key. So if you’re not using it for several days and can’t remove the burrs, you should purge the grinder by grinding and discarding 10g of coffee.
• Fino’s burrs are optimized for fine espresso grinding. When used for other methods, the higher percentage of fines may reduce lighter aromatic notes (floral notes) while pushing sweetness and body higher. If you need an electric grinder primarily for other manual brewing methods like Pour Over or Aeropress, consider checking out the Timemore Millab E01 or Timemore Whirly 01S electric grinders
