Picopresso is Wacaco’s third product line in handheld espresso brewing tools.
- In 2014, the brand started with the Minipresso as a compact, convenient handheld device for travel.
- In 2017, they followed up with the Nanopresso, positioned as the world’s smallest handheld espresso device.
- In 2021, they launched the Picopresso, positioned as a semi-professional brewing device for specialty coffee enthusiasts.

Picopresso is Wacaco’s most premium semi-professional espresso tool using a single bottomless filter basket.
HIGHLIGHTS OF THE WACACO PICOPRESSO
- Compact of the compact: Even smaller than the Nanopresso, which was already dubbed the world’s smallest handheld coffee maker. Just over 10cm tall with a 71mm diameter — roughly the same as a can of Red Bull. All accessories can be stored inside the body and everything fits neatly in the hard case.
- 52mm single-wall bottomless basket: Lets you watch the flow and control your extraction in real time. Also makes it easy to spot issues that may arise during preparation — channeling from uneven distribution, or grind size being too coarse or too fine.
- Espresso quality on par with a proper machine: At 18 bar of pressure, the crema is impressively thick and velvety.
- Complete accessory bundle included: WDT stirring tool, anti-spillage dosing ring, tamper, shower screen, cleaning brush… You won’t need to buy a single extra accessory with the Picopresso. Most of these are metal, so they’re built to last.
- Ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) finish: An extremely safe material that feels solid and grippy — like rubber — completely unlike any other handheld brewing device you’ve come across.

THINGS TO NOTE WHEN USING THE WACACO PICOPRESSO
- Grind as fine as you would for an espresso machine.
- Heat transfers directly to the outer surface of this device — it can get up to 60°C. Finish brewing your cup quickly before it gets uncomfortably hot, or use an additional leather sleeve.
- Choose a grinder that can go fine enough and has small, incremental click adjustments to fully take advantage of the bottomless basket. Grinders with large gaps between clicks are not well-suited for the Picopresso.
- Be careful with the small internal components — they’re easy to lose during cleanup after use.
- Pre-heat the Picopresso by pouring boiling water into the body, discarding it, then refilling with fresh boiling water when brewing — this prevents heat loss.

WACACO PICOPRESSO WARRANTY POLICY
iCup is an authorized Wacaco distributor — the Picopresso espresso tool comes with a 24-month warranty and component replacement in accordance with the brand’s official policy.
RECOMMENDED TO USE THE PICOPRESSO WITH A HANDHELD COFFEE GRINDER
What makes the Picopresso unique is its single-wall bottomless basket, as opposed to the double-wall (pressurized) baskets found in most standard handheld devices. This brings the espresso quality much closer to that of a professional machine — and with that comes the requirement for a high-quality grinder with sufficiently fine and precise adjustments.
iCup is honored to bring our customers the finest coffee brewing equipment in the world.
