Colombia is one of the most developed coffee-producing countries in the world. In recent years, Colombia has gained a reputation for its unique fermented coffees. But one of the origins that truly put Colombia on the map is this very Huila Supremo, crafted specifically for espresso.
“Supremo” refers to the highest quality coffee classification, with large beans sized above screen 17 or 18.
HUILA’S FAVORABLE GEOGRAPHY AND CLIMATE
Coffee flavor is heavily influenced by the soil and climate where it’s grown. Huila is particularly well-suited for high-quality coffee — surrounded by the Central and Eastern Andes mountain ranges, with most of the region sitting in the nutrient-rich Magdalena Valley.

Due to its proximity to the equator, seasonal variation in Colombia is mild. Summer temperatures range from 17–23°C, while winter sits between 12–14°C.
At an altitude of 1,700–1,800 meters above sea level, the coffee is also less susceptible to pests and disease compared to lower-altitude growing regions below 1,300 meters.
WHAT MAKES COLOMBIA HUILA SUPREMO SO SPECIAL?
The first sip takes you straight into rich, intense chocolate, which gradually softens into a sweet caramel layer that gives the cup a smooth, creamy feel. Just when you think that’s the whole story, a hint of berry fruit breezes in as a bright, refreshing accent.
Bold and bright. Two extremes that seem like they shouldn’t coexist in a single cup — and yet here they are, together in Huila Supremo.
Cupping notes: Chocolate, Caramel, Vanilla, Fruit Aroma
