MELITTA LATTE SELECT IS A FULLY AUTOMATIC MACHINE

One of the biggest barriers for office coffee drinkers is lacking the barista skills to use professional machines. The current solution? Most people resort to instant coffee packets. That’s fine—relatively cheap and convenient—but it offers limited choices and unnatural coffee flavor.

Melitta understands this completely, which is why the Latte Select is designed as an automatic barista. Users simply press a button and the machine automatically grinds beans and brews according to pre-programmed profiles. From a user’s perspective, this machine only falls short of Doraemon’s magic tablecloth in that it can’t cook food. But for coffee drinks? This machine’s got you covered!

• Adjust coffee strength: Choose more or less coffee, coarser or finer grind—all from the touchscreen. These options change the coffee flavor to match user preferences.
• Switch between bean types: The Latte Select’s bean hopper is divided into 2 compartments. Users can choose between them with a lever on top. Want bold? Go with Robusta. Prefer smooth? Choose Arabica.
• Change drink types: 12 recipes to choose from. Have a cappuccino in the morning, switch to an Americano in the afternoon…
• Save custom recipes: If someone wants deep customization of water temperature, coffee amount, milk volume…the machine has a “my recipes” button for total control. You can even name your custom drinks to avoid confusion.
• Brew 2 cups simultaneously: Very convenient when serving office guests or making drinks for multiple people during peak hours.
• Automatic milk system cleaning: The milk spout and internal tubes are automatically cleaned with steam to keep coffee flavor fresh (displays notification on screen for user to activate).
• Includes milk container: Pour milk in the container and store in the fridge. Take it out when brewing, then put it back. The container is also easy to rinse under tap water.

Empty coffee grounds and drip tray: The machine has a grounds container that needs manual cleaning (displays notification on screen). When robot technology advances and machines have arms and legs, then users might be fully liberated.
