Timemore’s highly successful crowdfunding campaign for the Sculptor grinder project
Nearly 11,000 pre-orders totaling over 6.7 million Singapore dollars on Kickstarter proved the worldwide coffee community’s anticipation for Timemore’s Sculptor 064 and 064S grinders (as of November 2023).
Of course, to achieve these results, Timemore couldn’t just sell a paper project. In 2022, the company launched the first version of the Sculptor 078 using 78mm diameter Hybrid Ghost burrs specifically for manual coffee brewing methods like V60, Cold Brew, French Press, and Aeropress. In 2023, alongside releasing the 078S (version for professional espresso brewing needs), the company continued accepting pre-orders for a downsized Sculptor version with 64mm diameter burrs. This grinder’s goal is to win over home coffee brewers with extremely high standards!
The Sculptor 064/064S duo meets all your coffee needs
- Sculptor 064 uses 64mm Hybrid Ghost burrs that grind coffee with the highest uniformity, suitable for methods using coarse grounds with optimal particle sizes from 600-1000 micrometers. This grinder can pull out subtle hidden flavors in coffee that many other grinders cannot achieve.
- Sculptor 064S uses flat burrs. Stepless grind adjustment capability combined with fine grinding from 200 micrometers meets the needs of all espresso machines from basic to professional. Additionally, this standard diameter makes it easy to replace with premium burrs like SSP if customers want to experiment.
Each of these grinders targets a specific customer segment, so consider your needs carefully before choosing!
